Check-up scores to be reflected in final grades

While student achievement and growth on test scores have begun being adapted to to evaluate teacher performance and to score school districts on effectiveness, those scores have not been reflected on an personal student's report card. That will change with the 2012 Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) try out when state law will require schools to use those scores as part of a student's final grade.

Soccer: Ifill inspires Phoenix to another road

Paul Ifill inspired the Phoenix to a nightspot-record fourth straight win last night (Fri), turning on the style to help edge Adelaide and consolidate B spot in the A-League.

It was the first time in club history Wellington triumphed in Australia after falling behind, and the 2-1 outcome was an unprecedented third win in a row across the Tasman.
