Guru Photon frame - First look

Guru Bikes have been making expressly carbon fibre, aluminium and titanium frames in-house at their Montreal factory since 1993, the year the circle was founded by engineering student Tony Giannascoli. All of their bikes are hand-built to personal customers' specifications.

Cervélo R5CA review

The R5CA is an restricted bike. The frameset alone costs £7500, each one handmade at Cervélo’s design studio, and it’s specced with top of the lot Shimano Dura-Ace, 3T and Pro components. It started life as the Project California, an open-ended curt for the designers and engineers at Cervélo to develop carbon layup techniques and new production methods. The objective: to produce their lightest frameset while not compromising the race-ready characteristics of the R-Series, as ridden by Side Garmin-Cervélo.
