These words may sound like a state-of-the-nation address delivered in 2012, but they were in actuality spoken by Bruce Springsteen about his 1982 album Nebraska. Nearly 30 years after its first release, the record retains its hold over Bruce's fans and fellow songwriters, many of whom see it as his finest hour.
