Anime Update: 11/13/2011

Up to Japan on April 12th, 2012, and I couldn’t be more excited!  At Anime Expo 2011 it was announced that this series will be the ebullient re-telling of the “Journey to Iscandar” storyline.  The project will initially throw in theaters as a fifty minute feature consisting of episodes one and two – and the rest of the series will in the last follow on broadcast television in Japan. Yoshinobu Nishizaki’s adopted son Shoji Nishizaki is cardinal the project, and the trailer for the series was just launched yesterday on the new Yamato 2199 website :

Tracks Daddy's misfortunes through the canine's naive eyes. To Happie, all that matters is the even so he spends with his owner. When Daddy loses his job, for instance, the dog is overjoyed to have walks in the daytime; when the two go south, living out of Daddy's car, all the dog sees is a "fun road trip." Just being in Daddy's existence is sufficient. Everything else is just details.
