PERRIS: BMX track loses sanctioning for nonpayment
Racing went on as scheduled Friday sunset at Lake Perris BMX, even though earlier in the day the national organization that oversees dirt-bicycle racing revoked its sanctioning of the track.
Ronda Linck, who operates the track at the style-owned Lake Perris Fairgrounds, said she was surprised to learn of the American Bicycle Linking’s action. Linck acknowledged that she owes the association about $1,000 and had bounced some checks but said that the comradeship had agreed to allow her to make payments to catch up.
